October 9:30am to 11:30am you can join Kaipara Coast Plant Centre Owner David Bayly on a walk around our gardens and property, and we will be looking at different trees and plants that are great for attracting birds and bees onto your property.
Including a wide range of plants for attracting bees and birds into your property is a wonderful way of helping improve the diversity and resilience of our local ecosystems, plus it makes our gardens and properties a much more interesting place to live in.
We see multiple Kereru & other native birds at Kaipara Coast Sculpture Gardens every day, and we always stop, thinking back to before we planted our gardens, when we would be lucky if we saw one Keruru a year. Now because of the mix of plants we have planted, we now have all year food sources for them.
Please note that this event is always popular and numbers are limited so Bookings Essential. To register your interest, email info@kaiparacoast.co.nz, or ph 09 420 5655. Limited numbers – you must pre-book.
