Come and enjoy a relaxed art and garden experience strolling along a gentle 1km sculpture & garden trail set in a tranquil and inspirational rural oasis located at award winning Kaipara Coast Plant Centre, just 40 minutes drive from Auckland City. Allow around 1 hour to walk the main sculpture trail, and it is enjoyed by people of all ages*.
Listen to the birds as you enjoy the gardens and over 40 selected sculptures by leading New Zealand artists.
You can also walk Don’s Conservation track & the Harbour View Loop Track located in the Gardens. These two loop tracks take you on a winding 1km and 1.5km journey through native forest, beside streams and small waterfalls, with view points farmland and Kaipara Harbour. These two tracks take between 20minutes and 60minutes to walk, with a reasonable level of fitness recommended and are not suitable for pushchairs.
Sculptures are for sale and the display changes completely with the new exhibition opening in November each year to give you a fresh experience each time you come.
*We have lots of birds and wildlife on the Sculpture Trail, so sorry no dogs are allowed. Not suitable for wheelchairs and walking frames. No smoking due to the fire risk.

Open 7 days 9am to 5pm. Last admissions 4pm (closed Christmas Day and Anzac Morning).
Please note: For two weeks in November the change over of the exhibition pieces takes place. During this time there will be plenty of sculptures to view, but there might not be full information about each sculpture at that at time.
