  • Native Forest Walks: Ready to see more? Extend your journey on our two optional nature trails— the 1km Don’s Conservation Walk and the 1.5km Harbour View Trail
  • Conservation & History: These additional forest trails take around 1 hour to complete. They offer fascinating insights into local history, native wildlife, and our ongoing conservation stories.
  • Change is good! The sculptures on the trail are changed annually every November, making an annual visit to Kaipara Coast Sculpture Gardens essential.

FAQ

While we love our furry friends, dogs and other pets are not permitted inside the Sculpture Garden. This policy helps us protect the artwork, the landscaping, and the safety of all our guests.

We have our local Coffee Stop located inside our plant centre. It offers a range of light refreshments, including barista coffee, cold drinks, ice creams, and a selection of delicious slices and savory snacks. It is the perfect spot to relax and refuel either before you start your walk or after you’ve explored the gardens.

Due to the nature of the terrain, the Sculpture Gardens and Nature Trail are not suitable for wheelchairs or walking frames. The paths are gravel and include some inclines that make wheelchair access difficult. However, the Plant Centre and Coffee Stop area are accessible if you wish to visit for browsing or refreshments.
