our experience | The secret to growing Avocados is to plant them into very free draining soil – we recommend planting them into at least 8 bags of Kaipara Coast Garden Mix, adding 4 bags of Kaipara Coast Bark Mulch on the top, and make sure the drainage is perfect. It is worth spending a lot of time getting the hole right, as the trees will drop dead very fast if you get it wrong. Water the trees at least once a week in the summer. |
