Fancy an afternoon or evening in the gardens?
Take a walk in the gardens. Then gather for a wood fired Pizza. Our under covered seating areas can hold up to 60 people.
Includes Gardens entry and wood fired Pizza evening. 20 to 60 people. Cost $50 per person.
We divide the groups into 3, and run 3 separate activities with our staff.
We run the day between 10am and 1:30pm.
Group One: Guided Sculpture Gardens Tour
Group Two: Conservation Track Walk
Group Three: Choose between make your own art or grow your own seedlings.
Each Group gets to do all 3 activities.
Cost $750 (up to 75 children) + teachers

Join out expert local Arborist for a walk around Kaipara Coast Sculpture Gardens, to discuss all aspects of tree care and issues.

Our local beekeeper and tutor will give a fascinating talk on all aspects of Beekeeping. We aim that by the end you understand enough about beekeeping to appreciate the challenges facing modern beekeepers.
You may even come away being inspired to have your own hives.

Want to understand more about what is happening in the ground? Join our local composting and soils expert to learn about how to compost and improve your soil.

An experienced Florist will guide you through how to create your own floral arrangement to take home. You get to collect flowers and foliage from Kaipara Coast Sculpture Gardens, and from there have a fun filled hour or two putting them all together.

We head into Kaipara Coast Sculpture Gardens Orchard, where we look at all aspects of looking after your fruit trees.
We aim to send you away with some key simple information that you can confidently tackle your own orchard.

Join one of Auckland’s Fungus experts on a journey around the gardens, hunting for a wide range of fungus and hearing interesting stories along the way.

We take a walk in Kaipara Coast Sculpture Gardens, and look at all aspects of how to set your garden up so you can look after it. From hedge trimming to planting, we aim to give you the confidence to dig, trim and tie in your own garden, and how to set up your garden so you have time to enjoy it as well.
Choose between a 1 hour or 2 hour session.

We take a walk into the gardens and pick fresh tea leaves. We demonstrate how to pick, dry and then we all participate in a fresh cup of tea at the end. You get to take a bag of fresh tea leaves home to make your own tea.

Growing Plants in Pots (1 hour)
We look at how to get the best results from growing plants in pots. This is a hands on workshop – You will even get to take a plant home with you.

Choose between a guided stroll around Kaipara Coast Sculpture Gardens where we look at all manner of interesting plants, art and stories.
Or, go on a Farm walk where we look at a range of native plantings and conservation measures (plus get some great views along the way).
