Our experience using these in the Auckland region:

If you are looking for a compact weeping delicate looking tree for your front entry, these are perfect. They like a bit of light shade in the summer, which keeps their foliage looking lush and green. Try them underplanted with bulbs, Acorus grasses, nandinas and azaleas for a japanese looking garden.
