Our experience using these in the Auckland region:

We get a good number of bunches a year off our plant. Remember to trim the top of the flower off once the bananas form. We remove the bunch in the late winter, and then they ripen inside the house over a period of 3-4 weeks. \r\nMust have rich well drained soil and feed and water well in the summer.
