The go to variety for tough banks. They will grow in a wide range of conditions - even shaded part of the day. Ours gets up to around 1m tall, but we trim the taller bits each year to keep their height aroudn 50cm tall. The birds love them. Just don't feed them, or if you do, give them Kaipara Coast Protea and lawn fertiliser to give them a boost without killing them.
