Bushy, hardy, mophead with intense deep vibrant red florets when plenty of lime is added to the soil. Rich dark purple almost black leaves. In acid soils the flowers turn to a deep plum colour. Frost tolerant. (GOOD FOR; DRY, FLOWERS, FOLIAGE, HEDGE, POTS, SEMI-SHADE)
