Overseas Lagerstroemia are widely used, but in NZ they are often overlooked. They are great little tree, they trim well if needed, have attractive flowers and bark. They loose their leaves in the winter, so are ideal for a small tree near the house. Easy to grow, and not too fast growing. You can tell we like them from this write up can't you!
