Our experience using these in the Auckland region:

We consider this one of the best floweirng and oil producing oil varieties for Auckland. You do need to ensure the soil is really well drained and the site has plenty of air flow. Not the easiest lavender variety to grow in Auckland, but if you get the site right it is worth it.
