These look really tropical, but are actually surprisingly tough. We used to only grow them under trees, but now have found they will pretty much grow anywhere, and are also great in the open, the giant tractor seat leaves will be a bit smaller and shorter in a sunny site. The flowers are awesome as well. Try them in big groups or on their own.
