One of the best tasting of the Satsuma varieties, and the trees seem to be particularly compact in Auckland. Not sure which mandarin variety to plant? It doesn't matter, just plant as many as you can fit in the garden - you will be thankful you did in a few years time, as tree ripened home grown Mandarins are far superior to the spongy watery supermarket ones.
