These are very similar to the Metrosideros Springfire Pohutukawa - the only difference we can see is the leaves are more of a grey colour when young. They flower in the late winter/early spring, so are a wonderful food source for birds. Not as spectacular flowered as the native Pohutukawa, but just as easy to grow, and they flower at a time of year when nothing much else is flowering.
