Our experience using these in the Auckland region:

A great all round grass. The beauty about these is they stay tidy all year round. We have grown these in shade, sun, wind, damp, dry, and nothing phases them. We use them as an alternative to Chionochloa flavicans, as they have nice flower spikes, and live forever in the Auckland region.
